The latest Logitech G wireless gaming mouse doesn't have much going for it, but that's what it's all about. At less than 63 grams, the Pro X Superlight is the company's lightest mouse and 25% lighter than theirs Standard Pro wireless mouse. That's roughly a 20 grams difference, and to keep it as low as possible, Logitech cut it down everywhere - except for battery life.
The $ 150 Pro X Superlight is designed for esports and gamers whose main concern is to have the lightest, fastest mouse possible without drilling holes in the case. In fact, this is one of the few ultra-light gaming mice that isn't dotted with hexagons to help lower weight.

Instead, Logitech cut off features of the Pro Wireless Mouse like the detachable buttons on the left and right - there's only one fixed pair on the left - and the programmable DPI button on the bottom (although it would have been nice) somehow this function is integrated into the local power switch. In addition, there is only an infinitesimal status indicator at the top.
Speed, speed and more speed
The weight of the Pro X Superlight combined with the overall compact shape makes it comfortable for palm, fingertip, and claw grips, and the buttons have a sharp click - not too firm, not too soft. Logitech made the feet bigger and used 100% PTFE (also known as polytetrafluoroethylene, also known as Teflon) to ensure this mouse kept moving even when you press down hard. Additives can potentially add drag. A round door on the underside covers the memory of the radio receiver. Logitech includes two doors, one with PTFE (pictured above) and one without. (You can also use it without a door if you'd like it to be a little lighter.)
The mouse uses Logitesch's proprietary Lightspeed wireless technology for a better than wired connection with its USB-A receiver. A receiver expansion adapter is included so you can keep the receiver nearby. A micro USB cable is also included if you really want to use the mouse wired and for charging. The Pro X Superlight has the same battery size as the standard Pro wireless mouse and lasts up to 70 hours of playtime.
The Pro X Superlight uses Logitech's Hero 25K sensor with a DPI of up to 25,600 and submicron tracking. Basically, you're getting the best that Logitech has to offer in an ultra-light case. It's only your reflexes and possibly your bank account that stand in the way of making a profit. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight is priced at $ 150 when it goes on sale on December 3rd. The price converts to approximately £ 115 in the UK and AU $ 205 in Australia.
