Hamy by Cymbeline | Size 8 | Auckland

This is a beautiful lace gown by French designer, Paris. The dress is called Hamy and is from the Forever collection. It was purchased in the UK where I got married, then shipped back to NZ and dry-cleaned at Regal in December 2015.

The dress has several layers of gorgeous delicate lace and is a dream to wear. There is no boning in the bodice, so it is super comfortable and moves beautifully. The dress has a lovely train which can be gathered for dancing. There is delicate beading on the top layer of lace. It also comes with a satin ribbon which I chose not to wear.

I am 5'3″, size 8 and wore 2″ heels on the day. I am a pear shape with small waist but generous hips. I had the dress altered to bring it in at the waist, to shorten the shoulder straps and the hem.
