you can always count on Hamas to break a ceasefire arrangement and give Israel an excuse to fight. You can also count on Israel only responding mildly until they are forced to respond harshly, upsetting people at both ends of that.
this situation is slightly different in that Hamas broke the agreement so quickly it makes you wonder why they gave bac all the hostages so quickly leaving themselves with little to no leverage. Thank God they did, but being prepared to break the deal so fast makes no sense after giving up the living hostages.
