The deadline for parties submitting their lists of candidates for the elections is fast approaching.
So far the most interesting development seems to be the Am Shalem party led by Rav Chaim Amsalem.
They submitted their list a short while ago to the electoral board. The party is led by Amsalem in the #1 slot, then by someone named Hila Hassan Levkovitz (of whom I know nothing about), and then Rabbi Dov Halbertal in the third slot.
Halbertal has a big mouth and has made a lot of incendiary and provocative statements as a self-appointed spokesperson. Personally I think it could be fun to have him in the Knesset.
