Hacktivist group Anonymous says it will look into BAYC

In a Twitter video, the hacking group Anonymous says it will look into claims that the Bored Apes NFT collection has Nazi symbols.

The founders of BAYC strongly disagree with the claims.

Anonymous says that BAYC collections have been accused of pedophilia, racism, sexism, occultism, and other terrible things. Anonymous has promised to look into these claims. The hacktivist group also said that it will sometimes share the results of its work.

The hacktivist group says that the movie is a kind invitation to the group of bored apes.

Ryder Ripps and Bored Apes

People say that Ryder Ripps was the first person to say that Yuga Labs and Bored Apes Yacht Club Collection have Nazi symbols.

Even though the collection’s creators have said many times that it has nothing to do with Nazism or other controversial ideas, Ripps has kept making these claims, so Yuga Labs is suing him for defamation.

Some people in the community aren’t sure if this is the real Anonymous group, while others think that the video was made by Ripps and his team.

From what I've seen, they don't record camera angles from different views of the speaker. He also sounds similar to Ryder and team to me. I think it's fake.

Before the video was shared on Twitter, on August 9, a verified Anonymous Facebook page told @nxg4n to “keep up the good work.” The tweet, which has since been deleted, also said something about Ryder Ripps and Pauly Cohen.

Breaking News. The organization known as Anonymous has officially jumped into the BAYC current events. Seemingly they are taking a stance behind @Pauly0x @ryder_ripps with this public post on their Facebook account. @nxg4n is the twitter account mentioned. pic.twitter.com/wSn1Wf0UY8
