A 38-year-old person was hacked to death by three unidentified individuals while the victim was on his way back from the Court at Mattakkuliya yesterday.
The deceased Mohammad Badurdeen Mohammad Farhan was a temporary resident of Mattakkuliya. According to Police, he had been arrested by the Security Forces over the Easter Sunday bomb attacks and was released later. It is suspected that the murderers had followed him from the Court premises to commit this crime. Police are investigating.
