OFFENSIVE-ZONE
Turnovers in the offensive-zone include any FAILED attempt to pass, deke or shoot while in the offensive-zone.
Among defensemen, Douglas Murray has the highest offensive-zone turnover-rate, followed by Raphael Diaz. Murray has the lowest offensive-zone passing success-rate among d-men, while Diaz has been able to get only 28.3% of his attempted shots through to the net. Markov has the lowest turnover-rate in the offensive-zone among d-men.
Plekanec's has the highest offensive-zone turnover-rate among centres, while Desharnais has the lowest o-zone turnover rate. Plekanec's rate is high as a result of having the lowest offensive-zone passing success-rate among centres.
George Parros has the highest offensive-zone turnover-rate among wingers, but has a limited number of events. Among other wingers, the highest turnover-rates belong to Rene Bourque, and Alex Galchenyuk. Galchenyuk has the second-lowest offensive-zone passing success-rate, while Bourque is able to get only 44.8% of his attempted shots through to the net. NEUTRAL-ZONE
Turnovers in the neutral-zone include any failed attempt to pass, deke, or dump the puck deep into the offensive-zone.
Among d-men, Murray has the highest neutral-zone turnover-rate, followed once again by Diaz. Murray has been successful with only 63% of his neutral-zone pass-attempts, and only 23.6% of his high-risk east/west pass-attempts. The lowest neutral-zone turnover rate belongs to Francis Bouillon.
Desharnais has the highest neutral-zone turnover rate among centres, while Ryan White has the lowest turnover-rate. Both players attempt the same amount of high-risk passes in the neutral-zone, but White attempts nearly twice as many dump-ins per-minute played.
Brendan Gallagher, and Max Pacioretty have the highest neutral-zone turnover rate among Habs wingers. The bulk of Gallagher's turnovers come from a low success-rate when attempting to beat players 1on1 (deke), while Pacioretty has a low success-rate attempting high-risk east/west passes. The lowest neutral-zone turnover-rate among wingers belong to Brandon Prust, and Daniel Briere.
Both players have high neutral-zone passing success-rates.

DEFENSIVE-ZONE
Turnovers in the defensivel-zone include any failed attempt to pass, deke, or dump the puck out of the defensive-zone.
It's a hat-trick for Murray, as he also has the highest defensive-zone turnover-rate among Montreal defensemen. Murray has been successful with only 68.3% of his defensive-zone pass-attempts; no other Habs d-men has a success-rate below 71%. PK Subban has the lowest defensive-zone turnover-rate. In fact, the supposedly "high-risk" Subban has the absolute-lowest defensive-zone turnover-rate among all Montreal players.
Tomas Plekanec has the highest defensive-zone turnover-rate among centres, while Lars Eller has the lowest d-zone turnover-rate. Eller is successful with 78.8% of his d-zone pass-attempts, while Plekanec's is successful with only 65.9% of his passes.
Rene Bourque has the highest defensive-zone turnover-rate among Habs wingers. Thankfully, he engages in the fewest defensive-zone events of any Montreal player. Bourque is successful with only 56.3% of his d-zone passes, and only 20% of his d-zone dekes. Pacioretty also has a high d-zone turnover-rate, as he completes a team-low 55.9% of his attempts to dump the puck out of the defensive-zone. Travis Moen has the lowest defensive-zone turnover-rate, as he completes 77.8% of his defensive-zone pass-attempts.
