The data used here includes even-strength events in the offensive-zone. The time frame for this particular data includes only those games that have taken place since the Olympic break.
OFFENSIVE-ZONE PUCK-POSSESSION
Among Montreal forwards, Max Pacioretty has attempted the most offensive-touches (or puck-possession plays) in the offensive-zone per-minute played. He's followed closely by Thomas Vanek, Brendan Gallagher, and Brandon Prust.
George Parros, Ryan White and Travis Moen have attempted the fewest offensive-touches per-minute played
Among defensemen, PK Subban has attempted the most offensive-touches per-minute, followed by Andrei Markov.
Pacioretty also leads all forwards in successful offensive-touches per-minute played; followed by Prust, and Gallagher. Vanek has the fourth-most successful o-touches, while outside of Parros, White has the fewest.
Subban also leads all d-men in successful o-touches, while Douglas Murray has produced the fewest successful puck-possession plays in the offensive-zone per-minute played.
Despite attempting the third-fewest offensive-touches in the offensive-zone per-minute among forwards, Travis Moen has actually produced the top puck-possession success-rate since the Olympic break. He's followed closely among forwards by David Desharnias, Prust, Daniel Briere, Pacioretty, and Dale Weise.
Outside of Parros, the lowest offensive-zone puck-possession success-rates belong to White, Rene Bourque, Vanek, and Gionta.
The team's top offensive-zone puck-possession success-rate has been earned by Subban; followed by Markov. The lowest o-zone possession success-rate among d-men belongs to Murray.
