I was asked to do a review for MoneySupermarket after joining a local gym for 1 month as part of their Gym For The Win Campaign, I immediately snapped up the chance and got myself enrolled. Their question too was... is it worth it? I was eager to find out.
I got my online membership login, grabbed a timetable and as I sipped my skinny cappucino I browsed the exercise classes available. If I were to pay and go, an aerobics class would cost me £3.50 per visit which if you do quite a few it can get pricy.

I tried a bundle of classes along with going for early morning swims in the revamped swimming pool. I must admit I found my love for swimming started to come back as I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it. I didn't have a chance to have a go at badminton due to time but I would of loved to. I find it hard to rave about an actual gym because I find them boring, I'd rather do a class or exercise outside however if I'm desperate I'll use one and this in particular was decked out with new equipment and was spacious.
For one months gym membership (that entitled me to the gym, classes, swimming pool and tennis courts) was £44.38... which per month is in my eyes rather expensive. I know that's what people do pay but to me I don't have the time to do as many classes as I'd like to make it worth it. Maybe you do? I think if you can get outside and run or grab your bike and cycle to work that makes fitness fit in around you, but if you love a gym and the classes than check out MoneySupermarket Gym For The Win and see how they can help.
