A Gulfstream G450 awaiting their turn to depart SFO. First flown in 1985, the Gulfstream IV was a re-engined, stretched derivative of the Gulfstream III. The improved G450 entered production in 1985, with the last G450 delivered in January 2018, ending a 33-year production run of over 900 jets, replaced by the G500. In June 1987 a Gulfstream IV set 22 world records in its class in flying west around the world in 45 hr 25 min. Prices for a 2008 G450 like this one run approx $12M.
