In 2019, Gulfstream unveiled the G700, its new flagship aircraft, which the company claims to be the world’s largest private jet. The nearly 57-foot-long, six-foot-tall, and eight-foot-wide cabin is the tallest, widest, and longest in the industry. New high thrust Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines power the G700 and, along with newly designed winglets, ensure the aircraft achieves high performance capabilities with its larger, longer cabin. The new engines give the G700 the ability to fly at faster speeds (Mach 0.90 versus Mach 0.80) and a range of 7,500 miles.

The first G700 flew on February 14, 2020, and since then the test aircraft have logged over 600 flight test hours. Those aircraft have collectively gone beyond the G700′s stated maximum certified operating speed and cruise altitude—up to FL540 and speeds up to 0.99 Mach. This is one of four test aircraft in the G700 certification program, with one window replaced with a panel for air data probes. Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm.
