Now we can let the post-celebrations begin, LOL. (Actually, I will be doing just that on Saturday with friends on that rooftop beach bar, as I mentioned!) Thrilled to have yet another BFF (blog friend forever), Elizabeth of Modern 24/7 and Elizabeth Sullivan Design, here to take us on one all-out-amazing party in her hometown of New Orleans. I have always wanted to go to New Orleans, and this is seriously doing it right!

My bestie Erika and I share a birthday month so I am so happy to be here celebrating with her! Mine was this past weekend here in NOLA (New Orleans, LA), and I am not saying that this is ALL I did, but this is some of it! New Orleans is a great place for a birthday. Stay cool in the steamy south with nude clothing, and enjoy your evening with Firefly (Sweet tea flavored vodka). For glamorous entertainment (think Michael Bublé), stop by the Ritz for a drink and check out trumpeter Jeremy Davenport. After dancing all night around Bourbon Street, stumble through Café du Monde for beignets and chocolate milk – they are open 24/7!
