Guest Blogger: The Barfly on EggnogOver the Christmas and New Year period we welcome six guest posts from cocktail columnist, London bar reviewer & blogger The Barfly
His festive series began with Mulled Wine, and now he's on to the Eggnog…

Eggnog
Excessive. Slightly gloopy. Messy. Oh behave yourselves.
You will need:
1 ½ shots Lamb’s Navy Rum
1 shot Havana Club rum
½ shot sugar syrup
1 Egg
½ double cream
3 shots of milk
Glass: Collins (that, Mein Host, is a the tall one)
Method: Shake all ingredients with ice and then strain into an ice-filled glass
Garnish: Ground or grated nutmeg. Do you remember the little grater that you won in a Christmas cracker last year? That’s what it’s for: grating nutmeg on to your Eggnog. I bet you wish you’d kept it now. Next Time… The Champagne Cocktail
