Verdict on GTMax

Recap

The movie follows a former motocross prodigy forced to return to riding to help her brother out of a difficult situation. Their family needs money and they check a role riding for a criminal gang, which spirals out of control.

Best Parts

The movie presents some fun motorbike chase sequences that use uniquely designed bikes to increase the risk. It follows the more traditional concept of being dragged into a world and not having much of an option but to fight in it. This also creates the characters well, a former motocross prodigy broken by her past accident, and a younger sibling who lived in the shadow. As well as the determined cop, the ruthless gang leader and the sympathetic member of the gang.

Worst Parts

The story can feel too safe, while it follows a more traditional idea, it is an idea that has been done a lot. It struggles to make anything original in the way it unfolds. How the detectives are treated is strange as the higher-ups don’t want to stop the criminal gang no matter how much they do wrong.

Final ThoughtsGTMax brings the action, suspense and everything you need in an action movie.
