August 2014

Every year the Hiller Aviation Museum puts on a Seaplane Adventure day, exhibiting the seaplanes in their collection along with many that are flown in for the event.  This beautiful Mallard was built back in 1950 and is only one of 59 built.  As you can see, the passageway to the nose is on the starboard side which also meant that the co-pilot had no rudder pedals,  Nikon D300 w/18-200 mm, processed with Photomatix Pro and Aperture.
