This was my first time photographing this gorgeous airplane. This was taken during the ISAP XII field trip to the Historic Flight Foundation. Introduced in 1944, Tigercats served for ten years before being retired. Starting in the 1960’s, Tigercats were used as water bombers to fight forest fires. Nikon D300 w/18-200mm.
