Greg Popovich Was A Class Act During Craig Sager, Jr’s Sideline Interview

Craig Sager is home battling leukemia and that sucks.  Today, TNT employed his son, Craig Jr. to do the sideline interviews during the Spurs Vs. Mavericks NBA Playoff game.  Greg Popovich doesn’t like sideline interviews, but understanding the moment like the professional he is, Pop nailed the interview, telling Craig Jr. that he wished his father was doing the interview.  He then looked into the camera to talk directly to Sager who was no doubt watching at home.  I love sports and this is why.  Even in the heat of a playoff game, Popovich understood the importance of the situation and nailed it.  Class Act.

Also, Popovich game Craig Jr. a handwritten personal note.  Class on top of Class.

Popovich gave me a hand written letter to give my Dad tomorrow. The whole Spurs organization is filled with class and great people. Thanks
