Grannies Vs Drones (Video)

 The elderly are stepping up and speaking out and their pledge is shown in the image below, they are out there, educating the public about drones at at every major intersection in New York City this past week. According to their website "Age is not a barrier to their dedication …. we can all learn from their collective wisdom.."

In October 2005, a group of women, went to the Times Square recruitment center asking to enlist in place of their grandchildren who had been deployed in Iraq. They were arrested for disorderly conduct, tried in NYC Criminal Court and later acquitted. Since then members of New York's Granny Peace Brigade have been arrested many more times and faced great opposition in their stand for peace, human rights and justice.
