Grammar Friday

By Pjfaur @peterfaur

man_question_markToday’s two grammar tips:

  • Don’t misuse the word “foot.” The swimming pool is not 12 foot deep; it’s 12 feet deep. The man isn’t six foot tall; he’s six feet tall.
  • Don’t use the word “of” when the word “have” is correct. Don’t say, “I should of gone to the store.” Say, “I should have gone to the store.”
