Graham and Brown Interior Trends - a Year in Review

By Catty212
I've thoroughly enjoyed working as a Graham and Brown brand ambassador throughout 2015. For those of you who may not know, Graham and Brown are a UK based decor company who sell a huge range of wallpaper and other wall art in a variety of different styles.
Working with Graham and Brown has given me the chance to learn more about design styles and themes and has helped me move out of my comfort zone with my own home interior styling. I have opted more for bright colours and bold accessories, learning to leave the creams and neutrals behind.
Each month I was set a challenge which related to a theme from Graham and Brown. I was asked to share my own take on each theme and incorporate products to work with it.

During my first month as an ambassador I shared my favorite room in our house - our bedroom, and some inspiration for their Northern Rose wallpaper.

I threw a beautiful Graham and Brown Ampersand into the mix and created this pretty way to show of some of my most precious things,
Into June and into the sugar pastel Popsicle trend, showcasing all things colourful and bright, bringing a burst of color to any home
Next was the Eureka trend, a trend based on individual statement pieces that are eye catching and unusual. Fish wallpaper anyone?
Graham and Brown interior trends - a year in reviewWith September came the Horizon trend where I shared some of my favorite wallpapers from the Graham and Brown range. I love this enchanting gray mirage wall paper and I'd love to use it in our dining room.
Graham and Brown interior trends - a year in reviewMy favorite interior design trend of 2015 was the Industrial trend. I love how fantastic stripped back materials such as metal and brick can look amazing inside a house.
Graham and Brown interior trends - a year in reviewI added this beautiful industrial-esque clock to my living room wall and it's become a bit of a conversation starter. Everyone comments on it when they come to our house. I intend on adding more industrial pieces to the room, as it's recently been decorated and we've brightened the wall color from cream to yellow.

I've really enjoyed sharing my opinions and my own interiors over the last year. 2016 will bring a redecorated spare room, I intend to move it away from the dumping ground it is to a bright, clean office area where I can write my blog and complete Project Live pages in peace. As well as the spare room, we'll be finishing off the little mans bedroom. He's gone from nursery to 'big boys' bedroom, it's well underway but Christmas got in the way, so it will be finished in the next month or so. It will also feature some fun wall art from Graham and Brown.

I'm hoping that 2016 moves away from bland white walls, furniture and complete minimalistic backdrops and brings in more color and unusual textures.

What are you interior ideas for 2016?
