Whether I like to admit it or not, I sometimes do go along with the trends. To avoid the feeling of "ugh I look like everybody else", I usually look for pieces with a unique take on the trend. When it comes to the overall/pinafore craze, I have had trouble picking what fabric/color- denim, burgundy, striped, black, etc. However, I made up my mind once I spotted this leather beauty. Yes, I described my dress as a beauty. To add to the already grunge look, I wore a cropped/striped turtle neck tee. And as you would expect, I slipped on my Docs to complete the graffiti wall look. Today, at the crack of dawn, we voyaged to Miami for a small family trip. Somehow, despite being exhausted, we went to the beach and I possibly tanned (fingers crossed).
