GraceLife in March

March is an important month for GraceLife Ministries. Here’s why:

March 1990 — I chose the name GraceLife for what would be a ministry primarily devoted to teaching. I had the name copyrighted (Trademark, Service Mark) for future use. I also chose the name Grace Martial Arts for a Christian martial arts ministry.

March 1993 — I began writing a series of Bible studies that would eventually become the foundation of the GraceLife teachings. My initial thought was to write the studies for my family, which is why I initially called the project “Family Futures.” It’s hard to put into words, but I had the strongest sense that God wanted me to ‘write’ for Him. I’ve looked to God through the years about the topics He wanted me to write – believing He knew who would one day read the studies. My prayer is that whoever reads the studies will find truth, guidance, comfort, and encouragement for their life.

March 1995 — I began uploading the GraceLife writings to a blog on the Internet. I also uploaded Christian Apologetics’ articles (Faith & Self Defense) and Christian Martial Arts’ articles (Grace Martial Arts) in March 1995. I have moved the articles from one Blog host to another through the years, but March 1995 was the first. WordPress has been our Blog host since 2009. GraceLife began with a single article, which has grown to more than two-thousand articles and more than 850 eBooks. I added Teaching Notes to the GraceLife Blog about 20 years later. The notes came from Bible studies, sermons, and radio programs I taught from prior to March 1995. Some of them go back as far as 1972.

March 2021 — I began the GraceLife Podcasts, along with the Faith & Self Defense Podcast, and the Grace Martial Arts Podcast.

As you can see – the month of March has been a wonderful time of ‘beginnings’ for GraceLife.

According to the ‘Stats’ pages on each of the Blogs, the studies have reached tens of thousands of readers and listeners in 200 countries and territories since March 1995. All credit goes to our wonderful God and Savior, Jesus Christ. He ‘paid it all’ and deserves ‘all praise and glory’ for the Great Things He Has Done!

I also want to thank you for your interest in GraceLife, Faith & Self Defense, and Grace Martial Arts. My prayer is that what you find in the Blogs will be a blessing to you, your family, and your service to Christ.

Keep in mind that the Archives are based on when I moved the articles to WordPress, rather than when I first wrote and uploaded them. Most of the articles from the last 50+ years are in the Archives.
