SJB National Organizer MP Tissa Attanayake said that the government should provide some relief to the public, now that it has been able to secure the International Monetary Fund’s EFF facility.
He said this while attending a press conference held at the Opposition Leader’s office.
“The government has now announced, that it will submit the agreements made with the International Monetary Fund to the Parliament. But we don’t know what the agreed terms are. We hold the position that the government should help the people so that they get some kind of relief without letting the people face severe pressure” he said.
