GoT: Ten Great Movies And TV Shows By Top 10 Stars

Jason Momoa: See

After leaving Game of Thrones in 2011, Jason Momoa confessed that he was devastated. Playing Khal Drogo was his lifeline at the time; so, when his character was killed off, he had to go back to job hunting and gigs weren’t coming his way quickly enough putting him in financial distress. He got a lifeline when he was given the role of Aquaman, but none of his previous roles can reach the importance of Baba Voss. See is a Sci-Fi Drama that follows the lives of people in a world where a virus wipes out most of humanity and leaves the rest without the ability to see. Jason Momoa plays Baba Voss, the step-father of two sighted children and husband of a runaway princes hunted down by an evil queen.

Nathalie Emmanuel: Army Of Thieves

Nathalie Emmanuel: Army Of Thieves

Army of The Dead has gone down as one of the most viewed films in 2021 and thanks to Army of Thieves, it has become a franchise. It follows the life of Sebastian, a bored bank teller who gets recruited by a jewellery thief after making YouTube videos cracking safes. Well, Nathalie Emanuel is Gwendoline and she did a great job at it. She also received credit for her performance in Fast & Furious 9 but her performance as Missandei of Nath in Game of Thrones remains her most legendary of all.

Maisie Williams: The New Mutants

Maisie Williams: The New Mutants

Arya Stark was the only superhero in Game of Thrones because she killed the Night King, something no one had done in thousands of years. She was the most amazing Stark in the show and definitely one of the show’s most likeable characters. When X-Men decided to have one final film in the franchise, the producers chose Arya to play Rahne Sinclair and no one was more deserving.

Lena Headey: Gunpowder Milkshake

Lena Headey: Gunpowder Milkshake

Cersei Lannister has gone down as one of the best villains in TV history thanks to Lena Headey’s performance. After her performance in The Terminator: Sarah Conor Chronicles, fans started calling her the new Angelina Jolie. She is one of the biggest names in Hollywood now having appeared in some of the biggest films and shows over the years since leaving GOT. Gunpowder milkshake follows Headey’s character Scarlet who is a former assassin that is forced to run away after turning on her boss. She leaves her daughter behind though and after he daughter falls out with the same assassin handler, mother and daughter have to become a team and save each other.

Kit Harrington: Eternals

Kit Harrington: Eternals

Did you know that Jon Snow finally got to date Cersei? Well, it was Sersi this time around and she was an eternal sent to Earth over 3,000 years ago to eliminate a population of aliens called Deviants who would seek to wipe out humanity. Kit Harrington played the role of Dane Whitman, a human dating an eternal. Just like in Game of Thrones, Harrington gave a great performance although he didn’t get to be the man that saved the world as he did in GOT. Eternals is still the most interesting films in 2021.

Sophie Turner: Survive

Sophie Turner: Survive

Sansa Stark wasn’t the best of the Stark children but she really loved Winterfell and was a better Queen of the North than Jon Snow ever was king. She was s survivor herself as she managed to get out of the shackles of the Lannisters, the Boltons and later, Little Finger. In Survivor, Turner plays Jane, an ordinary woman who finds herself trapped on an island with a man named Paul after surviving a plane crash. The two struggle to stay alive while Jane who suffers from PTSD almost gets both of them killed.

Emilia Clarke: Murder Manual

Emilia Clarke: Murder Manual

Now to the Mother of Dragons herself. Emilia Clarke is obviously not the first face you would associate with a horror film but after her performance as a villain in the last season of GOT, you could associate her with one. Murder Manual wasn’t as big a film as GOT but it is one of Emilia Clarke’s biggest since she left Game of Thrones. It is a horror film that follows the events of modern-day horror starting with a little girl having nightmares before waking up to find herself in a nightmare of her own.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau: The Silencing

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau: The Silencing

A little girl disappears from a car while her father has stepped out to buy a bottle of whiskey. The child is lost and the man’s marriage breaks up and now poor Mr Rayburn Swanson lives like a loner on his little sanctuary mourning his lost daughter until one day a body of a girl shot by an arrow in the throat is found in the town. It turns out that a deranged doctor was taking children from what he deemed as bad parents and killing them. Well, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is the father in this case and he was a better hero than Jaime Lannister in GOT.

Peter Dinklage: I Care A Lot

Peter Dinklage: I Care A Lot

Imagine Rosamund Pike and Peter Dinklage in a partnership? It feels like the meeting between The Wheel of Time and Game of Thrones and it was great. Pike plays Marla, a con artist who condemns old people into assisted living and sells their property for her benefit. Peter Dinklage on the other hand plays a crime boss Roman whose mother is accidentally committed to assisted living. He comes after Marla and the two become the worst of enemies. It is a huge shift from the reasonable character of Tyrion in Game of Thrones but his performance was still great.

Charles Dance: The King’s Man

Charles Dance: The King’s Man

Charles Dance’s character Tywin Lannister was one of the most powerful characters in Game of Thrones. Tywin was the iron-fisted father that enjoyed using his power to manipulate people and put the fear of god in them until they bent to his will. He has been in some great projects since his exit from the show but his enrollment in The King’s Man will be the most epic of all.
