Gospel Community Claps Back At Wendy Williams For Clark Sisters Comment

The Gospel music community claps back at Wendy Williams after she implies the legendary Clark Sisters should be jealous of Snoop Dog.

So, on the Wendy Williams Show, Wendy was discussing how Snoop Dogg’s first gospel album Bible of Love was #1.  The talk show host then went on to make an unnecessary remark regarding the Clark Sisters (who is featured on the album):

“If I were The Clark Sisters, would I be mad that Snoop got #1, The Clark Sisters they’ve been doing Gospel forever have they gotten #1,  Oh well, step up your game,” Wendy said to an applause from the audience.

Well, the Gospel community took to Instagram demanding Wendy apologize to the legendary singers.

“Wendy Williams you owe these legends a HUGE apology. YOU don’t know them because they don’t live messy scandalous lives and that’s ALL YOU know and seem to care about. But to disrespect and disregard ALL that they have accomplished in music (all genres), and further suggest jealousy was tasteless, IGNORANT, disrespectful and uncalled for. “- Goo Goo Atkins
