We’re in love with this gorgeous wedding in Corfu! The whole day was beautiful with intense Greek elements such as olive leaves, blue and white hues, lavender and traditional olive oil as a gift to their guests.  Jessica and Andreas decided to get married in Corfu, Greece where Andrea’s father was born. Their wedding was full of beauty and mixed emotions of happiness and thrill. Both ceremony and reception overlooking the deep blue sea and had a gorgeous decoration. White, purple and green were the main colors of the decoration in combination with vintage details like burlap and lace and rustic details such us tree trunks. Scroll on to see some of our favorite moments!

“We met on Tinder! He proposed while on vacation at Castello Di Velona, a thermal spa castle resort overlooking the Tuscan sunset. After a Brunello wine tasting at the castle, we were relaxing in our outdoor patio, overlooking the countryside below.  I was on a lounge chair and he asked if he could get me another glass of wine.  Sure, we’re on vacation.  He came back with Brunello and a ring. Down on one knee”, the bride shared with us.

“The ceremony took place in Corfu at the Marbella Resort in Greece. Andreas’ father, Spiro was born in Evropouli, a small village on the island of Corfu, was orphaned and left by the age of 7.  He eventually moved to Toronto, Canada where Andreas grew up.  Spiro, nor any of his immediate family had ever been back to Greece.  This seemed to be the perfect excuse to get everyone to visit their homeland together.  Walking the streets of the village and witnessing 70-year reunions didn’t leave a dry eye.”

“For my bouquet I picked white roses and lavender. The wedding decoration was really left up to the Hotel. They did a fabulous job!”

“It’s going to be a long journey of planning and cards, and gifts, and decisions, and stress. My advice to a bride that is planning her wedding now is to write her vows early and to be as nice to family members as possible.  Also, proofread any speeches that will be given and to do not be subject to a friendly roast!”
