“We got married in summer in Santorini. Prince and I met working aboard cruise ships in 2011. We are very fortunate to have spent over a decade of our lives working and traveling the world together. In July of 2017 we were docked in Naples. We had visited Naples many times as well as it’s nearby towns but had always wanted to go back to the Amalfi coast. Little did I know that Prince had planned a very special day. He hired a scooter and we made our way along the windy coastal path. We stopped in the picturesque town, Positano. We wandered through the streets, ate a delicious lunch and had a stroll along the board walk which is where he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I was over the moon. We excitedly made our way to Sorrento, to one of our favorite spots, the “Bellevue Syrene” overlooking the water, where there was a bouquet of roses and a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us”, Stephanie shared with us.
“I used Chic and Stylish Weddings to read reviews and find a wedding planner. Every single second of the day was just perfect and very well organized. I am so thankful that I had a wedding planner, Santorini My Wedding, the service at the venue was fantastic, our videographer and makeup artist were both great and made us feel so comfortable. And I loved our saxophonist. Imerovigli in Santorini is one of our favorite spots on the island. We wanted to keep the wedding decor simple as the setting is breathtaking in itself. I originally wanted fake flowers but when they arrived I hated them. So we went for a white fresh flower bouquet and both top corners of the gazebo matched. We also had matching flowers on the outside of the chairs down the aisle. One of my favorite touches was the fresh rose petal confetti that was thrown over us at the end of the ceremony”.
“My wedding dress was a Maggie Sottero dress, plain, backless with a touch of silver. I knew exactly what I wanted and when I put it on I was instantly in love”. Bride’s advice: “Enjoy every step of the planning process as it is all over so quickly. Have confidence in your vendors, they are professional and they will deliver.
