Today we’re sharing with you an incredible styled shoot that took place in a well-known ski resort in north-western Slovenia. The place was surrounded with a greenery environment, full of trees, mountains and a crystal-clear lake. Main colors of this photoshoot were the burgundy, the coral, the white and the greyish green. The venue was decorated with wooden furniture, lanterns, fabrics and fresh flowers that added a pop of color. We absolutely fell in love with the impressive geode wedding cake covered with stunning edible crystals! What we wouldn’t give for a slice of this masterpiece…. From NejcBole Photography: “Just after the wedding season I got an email from Nina from Skipass Hotel in Kranjska Gora, a well-known ski resort in north-western Slovenia. Kranjska Gora has always been known for being one of the oldest venues in FIS alpine ski world cup for men. Besides that, it is surrounded by one of the most picturesque mountain range in Europe – Julian Alps. Well, when Nina explained what she would like to achieve, I didn’t hesitate for a second. Shooting a beautiful couple in my favorite environment – mountains, and with all that autumn colours…why would I hesitate…”

“…Well the girls decided they want so work with natural colours, green, wood and add red as a contrast and gold for a sense of classy. This is a what they organize in their hotel – classy events, and so are the weddings. With that in mind they chose an appropriate dress at Sanjska obleka that was just mind blowing. I have seen Ema’s cakes before, but this time she decided be a bit bolder and brought a geode cake. So unique and classy. She carved a crystal into the cake and added some real 24k gold leafs. Amazing! My work was to document what these talented souls created and took a couple to a chosen location for a portrait session. I decided to go to lake Jasna, just outside Kranjska Gora, where zou have this amazing mountain backdrop.”
