Gordon Street Coffee, 79 Gordon Street, Glasgow, G1 3SQ

Glasgow’s coffee scene is on the up!

We popped into the recently-opened Gordon St Coffee in Glasgow Central Station and were impressed. A large selection of cakes such as blondies and marshmallows with pistachio dust as well as delicious rolls.

Our first visit was to have a try of their house blend, very like Costa in style, mellow and not bitter. They have a stronger Glasgow Blend available too, this was also not bitter but a little deeper in taste than the house blend.

The shop roasts its coffee in house seemingly, which is good to get a variety of coffees available at different coffee houses.

Stepping in the design in minimalist with splashes of colour from their cups and packaging. You can stand on the ground floor or go upstairs and sit.

Milk, sugar, lemon and honey are all available to add to your drinks as well as Wee Tea Company tea.

The rolls are delish, we took some away with us at the weekend as a brunch, granary style rolls with a good amount of filling.

Handy for nipping into whilst heading to and from Central, and hopefully battle some of that Blue Lagoon smell!

Good to have another coffee house to visit on the travels.

Have you been to yet? What do you think?
