We've had the largely right wing made up controversy over the IRS.

Before that we had the made up controversies over Solyndra and Fast and Furious.
NOW we have the made up controversy over 'Umbrella-gate'.
All of which represent an appalling application of a right wing double standard. We see the same double standard applied to sex scandals on the right.
Unless or until the right begins to show real and sincere outrage over valid incidents meriting outrage,
unless or until the right puts a premium on FACTS, not right wing fiction,
AND unless or until they apply the same standards to their own conduct -
the right is irrelevant and will continue to be irrelevant, except as the basis for jokes at their expense.
The right is showing themselves to be not just the party of stupid, not just the party that is like the little boy who cries wolf all the time, they are the party and politics of malice and dishonesty.
