Unlike what Dubya tried to do when he attempted to politicize the DOJ to go after people for political rather than criminal reasons, whatever happened with the IRS does not appear to come from the White House down. But more to the point, 501(c)4's ARE apparently rife with abuse, including by right wing groups. They SHOULD be investigated, rigorously -- but not just the right wing ones. GOP outrage - pure partisan hypocrisy.
