Google Pixel 8 Pro May Be Launched on Durga Puja, Will Beat the Market on Camera Alone

The Google Pixel 8 series is expected to launch in a few months. The US tech giant is likely to bring two flagship smartphones – the Pixel 8 5G and the higher-end Pixel 8 Pro. However, the company has not yet confirmed anything about the Google Pixel 8 series. Even like last year, the company did not even release a preview of its upcoming flagship phones at the Google I/O 2023 event held in May. However, various information has already come forward through various sources. This time, more specifications of Google Pixel 8 Pro have been leaked. Besides, the launch timeline of the phone has also been glimpsed.

Google Pixel 8 Pro specifications leaked

Tipster Yogesh Bro Claims that the Google Pixel 8 Pro top-end Pixel will make its debut in October. However, he did not reveal the exact launch date of the Pixel 8 series. However, the tipster has revealed the features of Google Pixel 8 Pro. The Android phone will be powered by the company’s custom-developed Tensor G3 processor. Inside which there will be Titan security chip.

The Google Pixel 8 Pro will be available in 12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 4.0 storage options. The Pixel 8 Pro is said to have a 6.7-inch OLED display on the front, which will support LTPO technology and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The screen will also offer QHD+ resolution.

For photography, Google Pixel 8 Pro will feature a triple-camera setup on the back panel with a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization support. The main camera will be accompanied by a 64-megapixel ultra-wide camera sensor and a 48-megapixel telephoto camera.

Recent reports claim that the Pixel 8 series will use the Samsung GN2 sensor as the primary camera. The ultra-wide camera will feature a Sony IMX787 sensor with a 0.49x zoom ratio, while the telephoto camera will be a 48-megapixel Samsung GN5 sensor and offer 5x optical zoom.

Also for selfies, the Pixel 8 Pro will house an 11-megapixel Samsung ZN1 sensor on the front. For power backup, this upcoming Google flagship will come with a 4,950 mAh battery. And an earlier report suggested that it will offer 27W wired fast charging support, slightly faster than its predecessor. According to a recently leaked video, the Pixel 8 Pro will also have a temperature sensor on the back.
