Google Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5 Real-world Image, Specs Leak

• A Redditor has released a seemingly real picture of the two upcoming Pixel phones.
• The user has also released alleged Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 specs.

Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G are expected to hit the market in September or October. We have already noticed a few leaks and problems. Now a Redditor has released a real-life look at the two devices along with alleged specifications.

The image now deleted shows the Pixel 5 on the left and the larger Pixel 4a 5G on the right, and shows a brushed metal look on the earlier device like we saw on Google's teasing image. We also see similar camera bodies and fingerprint scanners on both phones. Fortunately, we were able to save a cached version of the picture - check out the upcoming phones below.

Redditor also posted a now-deleted screenshot allegedly taken on the Pixel 5 and pointing to a 4,000 mAh battery. In fact, the user revealed more than just battery details when he briefly posted and then deleted specs for both phones. Fortunately, another editor managed to capture these details. It is also claimed that both phones will come with plastic backs. This is not uncommon for Pixel devices, but the flagship range has stuck to glass backs for a few generations.

It's especially interesting to see Google ditching the Pixel 4's telephoto camera in favor of an ultra-wide snap on both phones (it claims it's a 16-megapixel shooter) XDA developer). This would be an odd move, especially for a flagship phone, as we've seen brands use both telephoto and ultra-wide shooters as part of a versatile triple-rear camera setup.

The difference in battery size is also noteworthy as you would normally expect a bigger phone to have a bigger battery. However, the smaller Pixel 5 is said to contain a 4,000 mAh battery, compared to the 3800 mAh battery on the Pixel 4a 5G. However, it looks like Google is finally listening to users who want their flagship Pixel Pixel to last longer.
