"We are grateful to the Mountain View Police Department, the Postal Service and Santa Clara County for their quick action and support," a Google spokesman said in a statement.
This is not the first time the police have been called to investigate an incident on a Google campus. In 2018, a gunman terrorized YouTube's headquarters in San Bruno, California. The shooter was found dead because police believed it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Three others were injured in the incident.
