Google is Deprecating the Structured Data Testing Tool

Google has announced that they're deprecating the old Structured Data Testing Tool, as the new Rich Results testing tool is out of beta.

I'm personally not a huge fan of the new tool.

It's a hell of a lot slower, more in line in speed to the Mobile Friendly Testing Tool in speed, whereas the original tool loaded in a few seconds.

You also get a lot of errors, such as the "Oops! Something went wrong. Please wait a bit and try again." issue when checking code - and once you do, you can't easily press retest, you have to go back and do the whole input screen again.

You also can't actively edit the code and revalidate when loading from a url, you can only do it from the copy and paste code option (which is very buggy, and produces lots of errors).

Furthermore the results it displays seem to be inaccurate.

It displays Organization markup as part of a "Local businesses" Detected Item, which is clearly incorrect as Organization is not part of the Local Business hierarchical tree in Schema.org ( in fact it's the other way around).
