Google Cloud supports all Polygon protocols to grow Web3 products

Google Cloud and Polygon Labs have established a multi-year strategic partnership in order to speed up the adoption of core Polygon protocols and make it easier for developers to build, release, and scale their Web3 products and decentralized applications.

To help developers avoid the lengthy processes and high overheads involved in deploying, maintaining, and managing their own dedicated blockchain nodes, Google Cloud will bring Blockchain Node Engine, a fully managed node hosting service, to the Polygon ecosystem. “Google Cloud supporting all of the Polygon protocols is a step in the right direction to help onboard more people into Web3,” said Ryan Wyatt, President, Polygon Labs, at the Consensus 2023 conference.

With the recently announced Web3-specific benefits available to early-stage firms sponsored by Polygon Ventures, entrepreneurs in the Polygon ecosystem now have more resources to scale their ground-breaking Web3 products and decentralized apps. This includes early access to Google Cloud’s Web3 products and roadmap, invitation to a gated Discord channel with Google Cloud’s Web3 product and engineering teams, up to $200,000 in credits for their Google Cloud and Firebase usage for up to two years, free access to hands-on learning labs with a focus on Web3 and the most recent Google Cloud technology, and more.

Customer Engineering and Web3 Go-to-Market, Asia Pacific, Mitesh Agarwal, Managing Director, Google Cloud, stated, “Alongside Searce as our implementation partner, we look forward to deepening our collaboration with Polygon Labs to deliver the enterprise-ready Web3 infrastructure and developer-friendly tools that businesses need to offer fast, frictionless, and secure access to dApps for consumers.”
