Google Chrome Is Getting a New Logo After Eight Years

Posted on the 07 February 2022 by Geetikamalik

Chrome changed the logo for the first time since 2014 even though the changes were quite smooth. According to the threshold, instead of combining the shadow on the border between each color, basically “raising” from the screen, red, yellow and green now only flat.

Because of this change, the blue circle in the middle seems bigger. The colors in the logo also look more excited.

The main chrome logo will not look the same in all systems. In ChromeOS, the logo will look more colored to complete other system icons, while on MacOS, the logo will have a small shadow, making it look as if “popping up” from the pier. Meanwhile, the version of Windows 10 and 11 has a more dramatic gradient so it matches the other Windows icon style.

According to the threshold, the new icon can be seen if you use Canary Chrome (Chrome developer version), but will start multiplying for everyone over the next few months.

There are also several new icons for beta and developers from the Chrome logo, with the most dramatic changes to the blueprint style icon for beta applications in iOS.

From 2008 until now, the Chrome logo has been more simple. What starts as a shiny emblem, three dimensions have been trailed to a 2D symbol.
