- The Google Assistant snapshot now focuses on your important tasks based on the time of day.
- Podcasts, recipes, and restaurants are also recommended.
- You will have upcoming birthdays in the future.
The Google Assistant snapshot becomes much more useful when you have a busy schedule for the day.
Google updated the agenda to summarize the key tasks above. The snapshot will now change based on the time of day and how you've interacted with Assistant in the past. Get your messages, tasks, and the weather for example when you're just starting the day.
You will also get other recommendations. Google Assistant now suggests podcasts, recipes, and delivery-friendly restaurants. As with other tasks, the recipes change throughout the day.
Upcoming birthdays will hit Snapshot in the future, Google said. When they arrive, you'll have the option to call, write, or even sing a birthday song.

It should be easier to get the snapshot. Where you previously had to tap an icon, now you can ask Google to "show me my day" to bring up the agenda. The voice command will initially reach users with English as the default language and should expand to other languages in the "coming months".
The general snapshot update will now be available to everyone on Android and iOS, while Birthdays are ready to hit English speaking markets when they're done. This won't necessarily make the assistant a full-fledged productivity app, but it may give you more reasons to trust Google with your day-to-day affairs compared to other personal assistants.
