On-line Shopping for the holidays has already started using Prime Day and early Black Friday deals available this month. And with more buyers searching online instead of in stores because of the offers Coronavirus pandemic, Google is adding new tools to Google Shopping in the US to make it easier to compare and track prices in online and local stores Browser extensions like Honey.

To find these features, search for a product on Google (they can be general or specific - for example, "boots" or a specific brand or style). Then select the "Shop" tab at the top of the page and click on the exact product you want more information about from the results.

From Thursday you will be able to view price information - regardless of whether the price requested for a product is high, low or typical compared to other prices on the Internet and in nearby stores. On the same page, you can view different pricing and purchase options in both online and local stores for comparison. In the next few days you will see if the item is also available for roadside pickup or in-store.

If you'd like to try and wait for a better deal, you can turn on price tracking on the shopping product page and get notifications on all the items you want to buy. If you're signed in to your Google Account, you will receive notifications in your email or in the Google Search app. You can review any things that you are tracking or opting out of notifications in the "My Activity" section of your account.
