Call the Midwife- Netflix. A great little story about young midwives in 1950s England. As good as Downton Abbey but less talked about.

Disappeared- Netflix. This is one of those series that you can easily binge watch. Each segment covers a real missing persons case and most of them are heartbreaking.

Bully- Netflix. This documentary follows 5 families and their struggles with bullying. A good one to watch with your kids.

House of Cards- Netflix. The first ever netflix-original series. This political thriller debuted with a bang and 9 Emmy nominations for 2013. Kevin Spacey is amazing and Robin Wright will blow your mind (you might remember her as Jenny from Forrest Gump).

Take this Waltz- Netflix. Why wouldn’t you watch a love story starring Michelle Williams and Seth Rogan? It’s cute & quirky.

Intervention- Amazon Instant. Each episode follows an individual struggling with addiction as their families attempt to save them. With 14 seasons available this is definitely a show you need in your lineup.

The Killing- Netflix. A young Seattle girl’s disappearance sets in motion this moody crime series. There are 2 seasons currently available.

Orange is the New Black- Netflix. There’s no way you haven’t heard at least a little buzz about this series. It’s another netflix original series about a middle class while woman who gets sent to prison for drug traffiking (based on a true story) and the cast of characters will entertain you from beginning to end.

Friends with Kids- Netflix. So worth watching—-a great cast (hello, John Hamm) and good writing. We laughed throughout the entire thing.

Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son about his Father- Netflix. I think I watched this a year or two ago and yet it is still fresh in my mind as one of the greatest documentaries I have ever seen.

Our Idiot Brother- Netflix. An incredible cast and an entertaining little story about a guy going through a rough patch who has to rely on his 3 sisters for support.

Bernie- Netflix. Movie magic, y’all. Jack Black and ShirleyMacLaine (with a side of Matthew Mcconaughey). Based on a true story about a mortician who befriends the town’s wealthiest widow and then kills her.
