Royal Enfield Classic 650 India Launch Expected in February or March 2025

Royal Enfield released several motorcycles last year. Classic 650 is one of them. The 650cc version of the company's best-selling motorcycle was expected to be launched in January. But now an automobile portal reports that the bike is not being released this month. Prices will be announced in late February or early March. However, the dealers have already opened the bookings.

Royal Enfield Classic 650 launch delayed

Royal Enfield unveiled the Classic 650 at the famous Milan Motorcycle Show in Italy in November last year. It was supposed to be released at the Motoverse event in Goa in December. But instead the numbers announced the launch of the Goan Classic 350. The Classic 650 will slot below the Super Meteor 650 model in Enfield's lineup. Price likely to start at Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

While the Classic 650 shares its chassis with the Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650, there are several subtle differences. For example, 2 kg heavier than the classic Super Meteor. The bike comes with a factory fitted single seat. However, buyers can install a shotgun-like bolt-on sub-frame and fit a pillion seat if desired.

Like other Royal Enfield 650 cc bikes, the Classic 650 model will also be powered by a 648 cc parallel twin engine. It is mated to a slipper clutch and a six-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 46.3 horsepower and 52.3 Nm of torque. Fuel tank capacity is 14.8 liters. Seat height from the ground is 800 mm.
