Instagram users can now comment on someone's story. Today, the world's most popular photo sharing platform has added this new feature to its app. A few days back, Instagram announced the feature called “Comments in Stories” while launching Creator Labs in India, and from today this feature has been rolled out for everyone. In an official poster, the company wrote, “Now you can show your love to friends by commenting on their stories. “
Earlier there was no facility to comment on Instagram stories. But due to this new feature users will get that benefit and these comments will be seen by other users.

However, Meta-owned Instagram has placed two restrictions on the use of this feature. The first is that comments will only be visible to those who follow the story poster. And only follower stories can be commented.

Stories can be commented on for up to 24 hours after they are posted on Instagram. And if the story is saved as a highlight in the profile, the comment will remain. Instagram spokeswoman Emily Norfolk told tech website The Verge that users can control which stories they want to comment on.
