Verdict on Good Grief

Good Grief is a romantic comedy following a man dealing with the sudden death of his husband. He struggles to adapt to the change in his life, despite having support from his two best friends. However, a trip to Paris shows him a new future, while remembering his past.

This is a movie which shows the difficult life left behind after a sudden death. It has an even more painful truth coming from the aftermath. However, it proves that friendships are important and even through ups and downs, they are important in life. Deep down, this has a message about three people who are facing difficulties in life and remain strong around their friends. It proves how important their friendship is to each other and how being honest can help make people even stronger.

The three leading performances from Dan Levy, Ruth Negga and Himesh Patel are fantastic. They show a series of emotions throughout the movie, which can bring a moment of laughter and a moment of sadness. This movie plays on every single emotion and gives us a series of characters that feel like they could have come out of any life.
