What started out as a one-off riff on the nacho punch hipster beer video going around – and if you have not seen it please click here and do so post-haste… but I digress – has slowly been mulling around in my mind..
Anyways, the name and the description work, and just sounds perfect for ad copy. I mean how can you lose, short of getting sued? And even then any publicity is good publicity. Look what it did for exit 6. I would totally drink the f’bomb if I saw it now..
So my idea: Dirty Harry: a beer that has been Dry hopped 44 times with Magnum hops. The bottle and ads would read: You’ve gotta ask yourself: Do you feel lucky? Well do ya punk?… The amount of hops will blow your head clean off..
Logistically though how the hell does one pull it off? I know you are asking yourself “I gots to know” and believe me i am working on it. Taste is secondary this is pure insanity (read easy profits) here. Everyone knows people love hops, bitter for the sake of being bitter. If we are going to do a hoppy beer we better do it right.
