It’s not called Golden Hour for nothing. I posted a similar scene of sunset at Passeio das Virtudes two Decembers ago, but as it was December, the scene was not nearly as golden. Now that it’s early spring, we do get lucky with summery weekends like this one. And now that we’re in early Daylight Saving Time, the clocks turn golden hour into cocktail hour/beer time/pre-dinner hour.
The sunset gatherings at Passeio das Virtudes are not seasonal, though. If there’s a decent sunset, this narrow stretch of park with a long balcony is the setting for many a conversation. Here’s where you can find it:
