God the Father – Faithful and True

O beautiful, sweet and tender Father of ours, You are ever-faithful and true. I adore You; I adore You, O most beloved, pure and holy Father. Every time You promise something, whenever You say something will happen You always keep Your word, no matter how far-fetched it may seem to our puny human eyes. You deliver on Your promises without fail even when we disbelieve You, because their fulfillment takes time in occurring as all things happen on Your time, not ours. In fact, it can be safely said that You do not deliver on Your promises before You have tried us to the hilt, for You want to be sure of our fidelity before taking us a step further on the ladder of divine ascent. Thank You, Heavenly Father, for being the true “Father of the fatherless and Protector of the widows“ (Ps 68:5). It is Your nature, You cannot be otherwise. Thank You, sweet Father in eternity, for holding them tightly ensconced in Your Almighty and Divine Heart.
