There are good people, decent people, and smart people among both christians and atheists -- but as a general statement, the statements above are true. No one needs a Bible (or any other "holy" book) to lead a useful and moral life. All that's needed is the desire to be a good person. Personally, I find it sad to think that some people must be threatened with a hell in an afterlife to give them a reason to be good and moral. Why can't we all do it simply because it's the right thing to do?
