Gifts For The Retro LoverGobstopper Retro Sweets ReviewThis Christmas I have managed to get a lot of presents online and I have had them delivered to me in the comfort of my own home. This has saved me a lot of time and worry. There was one thing I did not expect to get delivered this Christmas and this was sweets, however when The Gob Stopper got in touch with me to ask would we like a Christmas treat I was thrilled to find out that I could have sweets delivered to my home. These sweets were not just any old sweets, they were Retro Sweets.
The Gobstopper supply and deliver a range of delicious retro sweets and chocolate goodies. From colourful rainbow drops, drumstick lolly's and candy necklaces to mini love hearts, boiled sweets and chocolate fudge, there is a sweet for everyone to enjoy. The Gobstopper has recently introduced a new Click n Mix jar. The jars come in three sizes, small, medium and large and they all consist of different amounts of sweets. I was given the opportunity to make my own small click n mix jar. The small jar is priced at £9.99 and you can pick any 3 sweets/chocs of your choice.

The Gobstopper have a large list for you to choose your sweets from, at first I was stuck as there were so many different sweets however eventually I went for 3 sweets which I knew me and Maxwell would love. We choose - Pigs, Teddy Bears and Snakes. I thought all of these sweets would appeal to Maxwell as they were colourful and attractive to a little boy his age.
After ordering my Click n Mix jar, we patiently awaited its arrival and we found it was here within a day. The
jar was packaged well and there was little chance it would smash in transit. The jar itself was a good size and it fitted in well with the retro theme. When Maxwell and I tasted the sweets we found they tasted good. I did not allow Maxwell to eat the snakes as they were fizzy however he adored the pigs, which I believe reminded him of Pepper Pig.
Overall we loved our whole Gob stopper experience. It was a pleasant experience and I found these jars to be the perfect stocking filler this Christmas as well as a brilliant Birthday present for a family member. Next time I would love to order some fizzy laces, rainbow drops and some chocolate nibbles.
