Yamaha launched the carbon fiber model of the R15M in an eye-catching look late last week. And today the Japanese company announced the launch of the 2024 Yamaha R15M MotoGP Edition. The new model of the sports bike has been priced at Tk 1.98 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new paint scheme is the official color of the Yamaha Monster Energy MotoGP team. Although the primary color here is black, touches of blue and silver can be seen on the fairing. And the Monster Energy logo is displayed on the side fairing. For those who follow MotoGP, factory racing team colors owe an extra.
Other than the new paint scheme, there are no other upgrades to the Yamaha R15M MotoGP Edition. Like other variants in the R15 range it is powered by a 155 cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine. It produces 18 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm.
Special features of the Yamaha R15M MotoGP Edition include a six-speed gearbox, turn-by-turn navigation, and a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. One can also choose between the Yamaha R15M Silver and the Carbon Fiber Edition launched last week. The latter model is priced at Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom).
