I had the pleasure of staying at Glenmere Mansion in August this year. I hadn’t heard of it prior to researching hotels in the area, and I’m so glad I found this.
We came from the Berkshires, making our way back to NYC and stayed here for a night. Glenmere is a new Relaix & Chateaux property owned by 4 people, which I believe are all first time hoteliers.
They spared no expense at all in all of the finishes, furniture, and grounds: the library is inspiring, the restaurant is stunning in every way - beautiful in daylight or by candlelight; the living room prior to entering the dining room is my favorite, as it reminds me of the lobby lounge at the Ritz Mananalapan; the pool is very European, and they are finishing up a spa addition which I know will be just as stunning.
